Some friends to celebrate their son's graduation invited me to stay at this hotel. I must say that it was an excellent choice, close to the central station and the city centre. It turned out to be a perfect choice for a romantic weekend. Once inside, it feels like being in another era: the opera arias, furniture, paintings and cut flowers decorating the rooms create a special atmosphere. Our room was a junior suite, spacious, bright and with very high ceilings. The bed was so big and comfortable that getting up was a real sacrifice. The location is very good and central and the staff is very friendly and efficient.

The room was very clean and had a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi shower. The reception staff was very nice and helpful. Residenza Cellini was the first hotel I ever stayed at in Europe. It is an incredibly charming little hideaway that occupies one floor of a large building tucked away near Termini Station in the Quirinale District. Pietro, an older staff person there, made the best coffee I've ever had, and though he spoke no English, his kindly manner and softspoken voice remains in my thoughts and heart to this day. Wonderfully understated elegance was the overall theme in this hotel. A little spendy, but not for Rome. I would definitely stay here again. Great location and service, friendly staff, a quiet refuge nestled in amongst the hustle and bustle of my favourite city (so far) on the Continent.
